"Location. The villa style Splendide Royal A Summit Hotel is located opposite the Villa Borghese gardens in Rome, Italy. Hotel Features. Modelled on a 17th century Renaissance villa, the Splendide Royal A Summit Hotel is set in a building dating back to 1880. The ornate lobby features marble flooring and antique artwork, and its chandelier featured in the 1963 film, Il Gattopardo (The Leopard).

The rooftop Mirabelle restaurant offers Michelin starred cuisine, panoramic city views and alfresco terrace dining overlooking Villa Borghese. Specialities include terrine di foie gras and a signature chocolate dessert, Settimo Cielo (seventh heaven). Reservations and formal dress are required. The Splendide Royal hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast buffet and room service.
